Ok I've disabled XMLRPC, disabled pingbacks and trackbacks on the posts being attacked and renamed xmlrpc.php

@wptavern If you are not using remote publishing then you can leave xmlrpc.php renamed, otherwise look at a htaccess rule to limit access.

@wptavern You were being felt up or someone was trying to DOS you via xmlrpc. I don't believe you're remotely publishing posts that fast. :)
